Denver

Carla is Trina's daughter from the "cheers" litter.  She is a very beautiful, intelligent, busy little girl.    She enjoys spending her days playing with her nephew Armani and sleeping in the sun on the porch of her dog house.  Carla is an important member of our family and a friend to everyone she meets.  Although I felt that Carla would make a good mother, I decided to have her spayed and not have her contribute to the breeding program. 

Gryphon

Clover is the daughter of Gemma (Berkden Kennels), and Reign (Willowcrest Kennels).  Although her birthday is March 18, 2019, Gemma went into labour on St. Patrick’s Day, and as a result that became the theme of the litter.  Clover is the sweetest, calmest golden that I have ever met.  She lives with Carla and Armani and enjoys playing with them both (although Armani is her favorite).  She is very independent and is content to play by herself when the other two are busy. Although she never entered my breeding program she is a very important member of the kennel and I cannot imagine life without her. 

It is with a very sad heart that I make this announcement.  Denver, my beloved friend, passed away on Sept 23, 2011. He was a true and loyal dog, and will be greatly missed by his human "mom and dad" and the rest of the "kids". 

Joy

Denver is the first dog that my husband and I had as a couple.  He took to me right away, but it took some convincing before he would accept my husband.  Once he realized that life was good at our house, he has never left my husband's side.  He loves to play with all the other dogs and gets very upset if they are mis-behaving.  He will pace and whine if they are doing something they are not supposed to.  In a way, it is as if he is "tattling" on them.  We received him as a gift from a client at work when he was 3 years old.  He had been in a house fire and as a result was returned to his breeder, as his owner could not keep him.  He has become an important member of the house-hold, and helps to keep the others in line.

I fell in love with Gryphon at first sight.  Of course back then he was called "Tank" because of his massive size.  He is Berk's son from the first litter and I just had to keep him.  We call him our big teddy bear because that is exactly what he is.  He loves to play with Amber and spends most of his time doing so.  He has been neutered, as we never planed to breed him, but none-the-less, he is an important member of our family.  

I am very sad to announce that Gryphon has passed away. He had an impact on so many people's lives over the years.  From all the students in the Veterinary Technology program, to all my fellow College Professors at the campus.  Without the support I received after he passed, I don't know what I would have done.  This small tribute does not seem enough for such a great dog.

 

Joy is Scarlet's daughter and was a single puppy born by C-section during Covid.  Joy is a very strong willed dog with a mind of her own. She lives with her mother and my mother is St. Williams. Although she was not a part of the breeding program, she was exactly what my mom had hoped for, as my mom wanted a Scarlet daughter before she retired.
