Family raised puppies

All puppies are raised in the house, not in a kennel.

We could not have picked a more knowledgeable or caring breeder when we were looking to add a puppy to our family.

Parents screened for genetic diseases

Berkden kennel is a very small, home based kennel.  Since I only produce a few litters per year, I am able to better meet my goal of producing quality goldens.  I strive to produce dogs with superior temperaments, confirmation, and take great care in trying to raise dogs which are free of genetic diseases.  My dogs are raised in a house and are well socialized.  I expose the pups to as many situations as possible, in order to obtain the stable temperament which I pursue.  My puppies, which are born in the house, are allowed outside when they become old enough.  At this point they are free to roam our large, fenced yard.  They are also placed in their own enclosure, under supervision.
