We could not have picked a more knowledgeable or caring breeder when we were looking to add a puppy to our family. Shelley is, by far, the best breeder we have dealt with. This was our fourth Golden but our first with Berkden and we will definitely be getting all of our future pets from them. Shelley has always been available to answer any questions or concerns that we have had since bringing our pup home. Our veterinarian was thoroughly impressed with the quality of puppy that we received, and concurred with the abundance of information and recommendations that we received in our new puppy package.

Picked up our new addition to our family today. I am so pleased with Berkden Goldens for all their kindness and service to us for our new adoption. You know you have found the best breeder when they cry to see them leave.  I know that all the puppies are loved and they are apart of their family.  My wife Shirley and I feel that we have just extended our family as well with Shelley and Janice and will always be in touch and make many visits with Chewy for years to come.  Best breeder in our books and will recommend them to everyone we know.

We have two Berkden Goldens, we went for one and ended up with two!! Need I say more about how gorgeous and sweet these puppies are. Warning to all.....you will not stand a chance when you see these pups.....Ridiculous!!! I cannot say enough amazing things about Shelley and her dogs. Our experience from beginning until present has been exceptional. From the first day we went to visit Berkden I've been so impressed. The puppies are born and raised in a home environment and it is spotless!!! Shelley's love for the puppies is apparent in everything she does. Her knowledge and ability to help pick the perfect new addition for your family, and to match your individual needs is amazing. When we picked our puppies up Shelley had a package for each dog that included special pictures of your puppy, their weight chart, vet records, records and test results for the parents, and a few special things for your puppy. Shelley kept better puppy records than I did for my actual children. I guess that's what makes Shelley so special is that these puppies are her babies and it shows. I've never heard of a breeder that takes the time to plan puppy reunions so your dog can attend a play date with his/her litter mates but Shelley sure did. We took advantage of this and it was wonderful to see all the puppies back together again. Our veterinarian told us when she saw the boys on their first visit that they were textbook perfect golden retrievers. Absolutely perfect. Our boys are 6 years old now and have been in perfect health. Goldens make the best family dogs!! These dogs are gorgeous, we get stopped all the time and asked what breeder they are from. I have referred multiple people to Berkden, many of whom now have their own Berkden Golden. They are just as thrilled.   Shelley, thank you for what you do. We love our boys so much, your Golden's are truly the best!!

Thank you Shelley and Janice for trusting us to give Jayda a good home after she retired.  She has been such an amazing addition to our family. It is obvious from her awesome personality she has had wonderful care while with you. Our veterinarian has commented on several occasions how healthy and beautiful she is and recommends Berkden as a great breeder for goldens.  

Two of our granddogs are also from Berkden Kennels.  Needless to say they have wonderful personalities and their beauty commands attention wherever they go.  I love how you get to know the personality of each individual puppy so you can match them to  their potential families.
